WASHINGTON – CUNA continues building momentum for its bipartisan, pro-consumer Campaign for Common-Sense Regulation with the release of a campaign video last week, with two more to be released this month. CUNA and its league partners urge credit unions to use the hashtag #CommonSenseReg when sharing the videos on social media.
“We urge stakeholders to make these videos resonate within the credit union movement among consumers by sharing, liking and commenting on them on your social networks while using the Campaign hashtag,” said CUNA Chief Political Officer Richard Gose. “We also encourage credit unions to include this in their member communications, urging your advocates to post the videos on their social networks.
CUNA’s Campaign for Common-Sense Regulation aims to reduce regulation on credit unions by compelling Congress to end one-size-fits-all regulations better suited for Wall Street than credit unions on Main Street.
The first video, found below, demonstrates one way that excessive regulation is hurting consumers.
The next video will be released Tuesday, and the final one will be released April 11, both at 8 p.m. They will be posted to CUNA’s Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram pages, as well as CUNA’s YouTube channel.
