MVC Chief Assures Assembly Budget Committee ELT is on Schedule

While testifying at an Assembly Budget Committee hearing Monday, NJ Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) Chief Administrator Sue Fulton publicly committed to getting Electronic Lien and Titling (ELT) done. In response to a question from Asm. Raj Mukherji (D-33), she told the committee: "The study is complete for ELT and at this point, the statute requires us to be online within 12 months and we are on track to do just that."

ELT continues to be a top priority for the NJCUL. Legislation giving the MVC one year to either develop an ELT system internally or outsource it to a qualified vendor was enacted at the League’s request.

The League is now focused on ensuring ELT becomes a reality.
