Congressman-elect Jeff Van Drew at Rider University Tonight; Still Time to Register

State Sen. Jeff Van Drew was successful last week in his bid to succeed retiring Congressman Frank LoBiondo (R-2). He will be the next member of Congress from the 2nd District when he assumes office in January.

Van Drew has been a strong credit union supporter while serving in the New Jersey Legislature. The NJCUL provided the maximum allowable CULAC support to his campaign and he met with credit union advocates at Jersey Shore FCU in July. He was also the guest of honor at our 2nd Annual Advocacy Appreciation Reception in Atlantic City last month.

Congressman-elect Van Drew will be the guest speaker at Rider University’s Rebovich Institute of Politics tonight. The event is free and open to the public, and there’s still time to register. NJCUL Vice President of Corporate and Governmental Affairs Chris Abeel will be there. Interested credit union advocates are encouraged to attend as well.  Please contact Chris for additional information and registration, or feel free to register directly here.
