The 2019 National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) conference is being held July 22-25 in Washington, DC at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. The NYIB is a national network of credit union professionals who are involved in financial education for all ages and in-school branches. The annual conference focuses on each of these areas and attendees will take away key ideas to help develop or refresh up their programs.

“The NYIB 2018 conference was the ultimate spot for all things financial education and credit union needs. It was both reinvigorating and eye opening to attend a conference that provided great resources and a safe space for networking. From the quality of the speakers to the people I met it provided an overall profound impact to me both personally and professionally. I would recommend this conference to anyone who has a passion to enhance the lives of individuals through financial education in the communities they serve,” James Zugg with Complex Community Credit Union in Texas.

The annual conference also includes the business meeting and an awards ceremony which recognizes the top individuals and credit unions in financial education based on reported presentations and individual outreach in various asset categories. In 2018, the NYIB network reached over 629,000 individuals through over 18,000 presentations nationwide. To make sure your numbers are included, report your financial education presentations at www.nyib.org by July 3, 2019.
