MADISON, Wis. – In an effort to support the movement’s small credit unions, CUNA recently created the CUNA Small Credit Union Community, an online platform where small credit union leaders from across the country can share ideas, collaborate and solve problems collectively.
The Community offers a simple message board to ask—and answer—questions with a daily digest that summarizes conversation threads. Additionally, the Community contains an easily accessible file library with clear and concise resources created with small credit unions in mind. Users can find a powerful, no-cost custom peer comparison tool and “Five to Thrive,” a strategic planning document specifically created for small credit unions on the site. CUNA also included information on credit union collaboration models, cybersecurity, and resource links.
Credit unions can get engaged by visiting community.cuna.org, clicking on “All Communities,” and clicking on the “Small Credit Union Community” link.
