NJCUL Trains United Teletech Financial FCU’s Supervisory Committee on BSA Issues Virtually

When you look at a map of the State of New Jersey it’s not very wide, but it is very, very long.  As a matter of fact, it is more than twice as long as it is wide at 150 miles in length versus 70 miles in width! While Hightstown makes sense as a central location for NJCUL’s headquarters, even with the straight run on the Turnpike, it isn’t necessarily convenient or conducive for our members to drive here given the travel time and/or overall time away from the office.

Thursday evening, United Teletech Financial FCU’s Supervisory Committee took advantage of receiving their annual Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training through NJCUL’s virtual platform. NJCUL Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Nicola Foggie, facilitated the compliance training from the League’s Webinar Room while the Supervisory Committee was miles away participating from the credit union’s meeting room simply by logging into NJCUL’s virtual meeting site via a laptop connected to their meeting room’s television as the monitor.

We get it. Your time is important and your online meetings need to work all of the time, every time. And, it needs to be simple and convenient. Next time you and your staff, board of directors, and volunteers are looking for education and training, turn to NJCUL for an easy, convenient, virtual way to do so. Check out NJCUL’s calendar to see what upcoming topics and events are available.
