HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Credit Union League’s re-energized "Banking You Can Trust" consumer awareness campaign was the focus of a CU Magazine feature article, titled “Boosting Their Signal: N.J. League Takes Banking You Can Trust v2.0 Awareness Campaign to the Airwaves”, in its April 2017 issue.
The article highlights the League’s “Leaders Series”‑new for 2017‑which is a regular feature on the statewide NJ 101.5 FM radio station. For the series, credit union leaders are on-air answering personal finance questions posed by listeners and www.BankingYouCanTrust.com visitors through the site’s form.
“We wanted to talk about brand awareness in terms that resonate with consumers,” NJCUL President/CEO David Frankil explained.
Which is also the cornerstone of the League’s other campaign, the “Legacy Series”, which uses the power of storytelling to connect with consumers, connecting with them on a “visceral” level as Frankil puts it. The series features credit unions’ “origin stories”—how they were founded by family, friends, and/or coworkers.
