Thursday morning, Glenn South lost his long battle and passed away waiting for a liver and kidney transplant at NYU Transplant Center in New York City. He was the CEO of County Educators Federal Credit Union in Roselle Park, N.J. for over 20 years, working at the credit union for 28 years. He was also Treasurer of Symbionce Financial Solutions, LLC, a mortgage CUSO based in N.J.
Prior to that, he had been a senior consultant to the New Jersey Credit Union League and a 1996 graduate of CUNA Management School, Madison, Wis. and Rider University. He served many years as a director of the NJCUL. He has received multiple awards for his service to the credit union industry. Glenn also was an ambassador to the World Council of Credit Unions and helped charter many credit unions in Russia.
He leaves behind his loving wife Ann South, President/CEO of Novartis Federal Credit Union, son Matt (wife Lana), and grandson Matthew. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Glenn’s name to the New Jersey Sharing Network, 691 Central Avenue, New Providence, N.J. 07974.
Glenn’s final wish was for everyone to celebrate his life together at special luncheon which will be held Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Galloping Hill Golf Club located at 3 Golf Drive, Kenilworth, N.J. 07033. Please RSVP to Sandy Mullins by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org (973)-947-1000 ext. 122.
