WASHINGTON – Credit Union of New Jersey (CUNJ) will be honored with the inaugural CULAC Circle of Excellence award at this year’s CUNA GAC. New this year, the award will be presented annual to the credit union that raised the most funds for CULAC in its state during the previous year.
CUNJ President/CEO and NJCUL Board Chairman Andy Jaeger served as New Jersey’s CULAC Trustee from 2013 through 2016, stepping down when he was elected NJCUL board chairman. Aspire FCU President/CEO Tom O’Shea has succeeded Jaeger on the CULAC Board of Trustees. CUNJ and Aspire were the first two credit unions in the state to establish a CULAC payroll deduction programs.
CUNJ and the other winners will be honored via recognition in a number of venues throughout GAC, including in the CULAC Recognition of Donors book, on printed materials at CULAC events, and in a video presentation during the conference’s general session.
