League Welcomes NJ Delegation Support of U.S. House ADA Letter

U.S. Rep’s Leonard Lance (R-7), Frank LoBiondo (R-2), Tom MacArthur (R-3) and Bill Pascrell (D-9) signed on to the Budd-Correa colleague letter to Attorney General Jefferson Sessions regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Web site accessibility guidelines.

The letter, assembled by Rep's Ted Budd (R-NC) and Lou Correa (D-CA), asks the U.S. Department of Justice to provide guidance and clarity with regard to Web site accessibility under the ADA.

The NJCUL asked members of New Jersey’s Congressional delegation for support because several credit unions received the demand letters from a California-based trial attorney.

Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman added her signature to a similar letter last October.
