Part Time Teller

Hamilton Horizons Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part Time Teller.

Hamilton Horizons Federal Credit Union is a financial cooperative that is available to anyone living in, working in, worshiping in and/or attending school in Hamilton, New Jersey.  Also anyone directly related to any of the aforementioned.  We have proudly served our members for over 60 years, during which time we have established a reputation for providing superior service and financial benefits.

We are seeking a Part-Time Teller that will work approximately 20 hours per week.  This dedicated individual will work in our fast-paced Lobby environment assisting our members with a variety of transactions and questions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately performs teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, official checks, loan payments, etc. Responds to member inquiries and provides quality member service at all times. Balances drawer accurately and timely.  Follows all established security procedures.  Strictly follows requirements of audit and compliance, including currency transaction reporting.  Seeks assistance for handling accounts with special alerts and/or holds.
  • Contributes to the efficient operation of the office by performing or assisting with other duties such as maintaining operational logs, balancing the ATM, etc.  Maintains good working relationships with fellow employees to ensure teamwork within the office. Is punctual and professional at all times.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 months cash handling experience, excellent verbal and listening skills, with an attention to detail. Previous financial experience is a plus.
