Branch Manager

First Commonwealth FCU is seeking a Branch Manager accountable for effectively managing branch operations, serving members, cross-offering all credit union products and services and meeting sales and service goals, under the direction of the Vice President of Member Experience.

Support a strong culture of sales and member service excellence. Lead branch staff to meet or exceed all credit union product and service goals. Ensure all department personnel are consistently and effectively cross-offering all credit union products and services when appropriate. Make it simple for members to improve their financial well-being by offering products and services that benefit them. Support the development, growth and expansion of Member Business Services.

Must possess knowledge of the fundamentals of banking, financial services, including deposit accounts, IRAs, loans.  Understanding of laws and regulations relating to credit union financial services is necessary.Strong sales skills and the ability to develop sales skills in others are critical to this position. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical and problem solving skills are required. Must be able to perform math calculations, collect, analyze, interpret financial data and assess risk. 

Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheet software, MS Office, Internet and Email is essential.Associates degree in Business or related field along with 5+ years’ experience in a financial institution branch is required along with 1-3 years supervisory experience is required.
