Attendees will gain an understanding of how to use threat intelligence from sources such as FS-ISAC and US-Cert to help improve their credit union’s security posture while addressing recommendations from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) regarding ‘Threat Intelligence & Collaboration’.

Credit union employees responsible for their organization’s information security including C-level executives, Security Officers, and staff in the IT, Compliance, and Risk departments. 
 

Speaker Biography:
Wes Spencer: Wes is the CISO of Perch Security. He’s a hands-on cybersecurity executive with a wealth of experience in the financial services industry and is a professor of information security. While at FNB, Wes served as the chairman for the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center’s (FS-ISAC) Community Institution Council, providing leadership to over 4,000 member financial institutions. 

Heather McCalman: 
While at FNB, Wes served as the chairman for the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center’s (FS-ISAC) Community Institution Council, providing leadership to over 4,000 member financial institutions. 


Michael Brands: Michael is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional with over 20 years of experience in IT, with the past 12 years focused on managing networks and security for banks and credit unions. Michael’s areas of expertise include proactive network management, cybersecurity, risk management, cyber forensics, and GLBA, HIPAA, and DFARS compliance.
