This session will take a close look at some of the more difficult issues facing credit unions that are dealing with troubled loans, focusing largely on the impact bankruptcy has on troubled loans, as well as practical tips and best practices for effectively managing troubled loans. Specifically, this session will delve into the following topics:

  • Bankruptcy Process and its Impact on Troubled Loans;

  • Workout Strategies and Alternatives to Bankruptcy;

  • Collection, Repossession, and Foreclosure Procedures;

  • Lender Liability Prevention and Risk Management; and

  • Best Practices for Managing Troubled Loans

Three dates and locations to choose from:

  • March 24 - Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh, Cranberry Township, PA

  • March 25 - Pillar+Aught in Harrisburg, PA

  • March 25 - CrossState Credit Union Association, Hightstown, NJ (Simulcast) 

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. and training starts at 10:00 a.m. Training is provided by Kate Delinger Sallie, who specializes in bankruptcy and is an attorney with Pillar+Aught. Lunch is included in your registration fee.
