Congressman Kim to Hold Town Hall Meeting Saturday

Congressman Andy Kim (D-3) will hold a town hall meeting Saturday in Toms River to report on his first month in Congress. He will discuss efforts to lower prescription drug prices, protect Social Security and Medicare, and establish constituent service programs in both Washington and in New Jersey.

Kim wants to hear from constituents in Ocean County and throughout his district about their priorities. This town hall is his second since assuming office, and part of a planned monthly series to allow him to hear directly from constituents.

The town hall is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 16 at Holiday City West, 45 Cabrillo Boulevard, Toms River, NJ. The public is invited, and registration is not necessary.

The NJCUL met with Congressman Kim last week to discuss credit union priorities for the 116th Congress.

The League schedules in-districts meetings with members of state’s congressional delegation to enable credit union advocates to meet with their representatives in Congress without having to travel to Washington.

The meetings are open to all NJCUL member credit union professionals and volunteers. Anyone interested in participating should contact NJCUL Vice President of Corporate & Governmental Affairs Chris Abeel at cabeel@njcul.org or 800-792-8861, ext. 127.
