CUNA Mutual Group's Linda Nedelcoff Explains How Change is Not Top Down

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – CUNA Mutual Group's Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Linda Nedelcoff, led an elaborate discussion with Convention attendees about how to stay engaged with your employees and how change happens all throughout your credit union. The right treatment of employees is a key component of what drives member business.

Nedelcoff spoke with Convention attendees about how change does not necessarily flow from the top down. Everyone is involved.

CUNA Mutual Group successfully executed an enterprise-wide change initiative, based on an evolution of their strategy. Nedelcoff was directly involved in the organization’s change process, and walked attendees through key success factors, as well as some of the unexpected issues they encountered.

Your employees are what help drive successful business, she said. Without the right treatment, business will not have a place to flourish.

Throughout the presentation, the phrase "people helping people" was brought to the forefront of the discussion because of how we are all connected to drive success and help our members, but also make sure credit unions workers are taken care of, too.
