NJCUL Hosts Town Hall Webinar for Members Regarding New Organization, Final Town Hall Scheduled for April 24th

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – NJCUL President/CEO David Frankil led a Town Hall Meeting virtually for NJCUL-member credit unions on Thursday to provide an overview of the plan for the new organization with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA).

Frankil provided an overview of why the two organizations are exploring this combination, and how it presents a compelling opportunity to leverage assets and scale with the new organization’s visions and value for members, and more.

“This combination of equals will create a new, vibrant organization that provides compelling Member value,” Frankil stated, “Becoming one of the largest regional trade associations in the country will enable us to offer more value to credit unions of all sizes.”

NJCUL-member CUs that were unable to attend this virtual Town Hall Meeting have the opportunity to hear from NJCUL on Wednesday, April 24th at an in-person Town Hall Meeting at the NJCUL Office in Hightstown.

The membership of both NJCUL and PCUA must vote in favor of the transaction for it to be consummated. NJCUL membership voting packets were sent to CEOs/Managers last week. Voting will open May 1st and close on May 15th.

Credit unions can reach out to NJCUL President/CEO David Frankil at dfrankil@njcul.org or NJCUL Chairman Andy Jaeger at ajaeger@cunj.org.
