NJCUL Hosts Final Town Hall at League Office for Members Regarding New Organization

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – NJCUL President/CEO David Frankil led the fourth of a series of Town Hall Meetings for NJCUL-member credit unions on Wednesday at the League office to provide an overview of the plan for the new organization with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA).

NJCUL Board member Annemarie Shinn was also in attendance as well as NJCUL SVP of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Nicola Foggie and VP of Corporate and Government Affairs Chris Abeel.

Frankil provided an overview of why the two organizations are exploring this combination, and how it presents a compelling opportunity to leverage assets and scale with the new organization’s visions and value for members, and more.

“This combination of equals will create a new, vibrant organization that provides compelling Member value,” Frankil stated, “Becoming one of the largest regional trade associations in the country will enable us to offer more value to credit unions of all sizes.”

The membership of both NJCUL and PCUA must vote in favor of the transaction for it to be consummated. NJCUL membership voting packets were sent to CEOs/Managers last week. Voting will open May 1st and close on May 15th.
