Joseph Riccardo Appointed President/CEO of Member Support Services, LLC

Joseph Riccardo has been appointed as the President/CEO of Member Support Services, LLC—a Credit Union Service Organization owned by three New Jersey-based credit unions. 

Member Support Services, LLC supports the back office operational needs of its shareholder credit unions, representing $843 million in assets and 88,206 members. The objective of the CUSO is to create operational efficiencies in core processing, information technology services, delinquency and collections, support services, purchasing and contracting and other areas. The three credit union shareholders are: Aspire Federal Credit Union, Credit Union of New Jersey, and United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union.

Member Support Services is building a shared back office operation that services the shareholder credit unions with the objective of co-sourcing operations and support for improved efficiencies and service levels.

Mr. Riccardo previously served as Chief Technology Innovation Officer of Aspire Federal Credit Union, a $174 million CU headquartered in Clark, New Jersey. Mr. Riccardo has over 15 years’ experience within the credit union industry and over 35 years of financial services operations, technology, and finance expertise. He joined the Aspire FCU executive management team in 2014, after serving 12 years with the Fiserv Credit Union Division in various senior and executive level positions.

A graduate of Kings College, Riccardo earned a BS Degree in Accounting and began his career in financial services as a Controller/Assistant Treasurer at a mutual savings and loan in Paoli, Pennsylvania. His career spans 40 years working within financial institutions, FinTech and financial services consulting companies that support banks and credit unions.
