United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union Celebrates 50th Anniversary

TINTON FALLS, N.J. – United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union celebrated its 50th Anniversary on Monday, June 19 with member appreciation events held at each of its five branch locations.

Board Chair, Ruth Ann Kluin, offered the following statements on the anniversary: “It is truly an honor to be a part of this member-owned financial cooperative. We owe our continued success to our members, our volunteers, and staff. We were founded in 1967 at Bell Labs in Holmdel, N.J., and it’s amazing to think about how far we’ve come. From those eight founders we now serve over 23,000 families in Central New Jersey. And we haven’t lost that ‘people helping people’ touch we had from the start.”

President/CEO, Leo Ardine, offered additional insight into the anniversary: “We are so fortunate to have been able to serve the residents of our communities for the past 50 years. It’s gratifying and humbling to be part of an organization of people that are devoted to helping their neighbors get ahead financially. Our team truly lifts people up every day. It’s no wonder that we’ve been able to hit this 50-year milestone being a locally-owned and controlled credit union. We have a team of highly-skilled financial services players that care about the people they serve; we are responsive to the needs of our members and we continue to support the charities and organizations that make a difference in the lives of our members.”

This summer United Teletech Financial Federal Credit Union will continue the 50th Anniversary celebration by offering special promotions and savings with focus on giving back to those that are most in need in the communities they serve.
