Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union Announces Scholarship Winners

Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union announced the winners of its $500 Benson/Hunt Scholarships and $500 Surf Club Scholarships.

Stephanie C. DiIanni from Egg Harbor Township attended Holy Spirit High School and was awarded a $500 Benson/Hunt Scholarship. She will be attending Jacksonville University in the fall majoring in Communication Science Disorders. Stephanie was excited to learn she was awarded a Scholarship. She likes banking with Jersey Shore and said, “Each time I enter the credit union, staff always greets me with a smile. They are so friendly and helpful.”

Bo Repko from Mays Landing attended Buena Regional High School and was also awarded a $500 Benson/Hunt Scholarship.  He will be attending Liberty University majoring in Exercise Science.  Bo said, “I love how convenient and close the credit union is to my home and my job! This scholarship will help me to meet my goal to graduate without debt.”

Gabrielle Nicole Sirolli of Hammonton was awarded a $500 Surf Club Scholarship for members 18-25 that are already enrolled in an institution of higher education.  She is attending La Salle University majoring in Speech Pathology.  Gabrielle expressed, “Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union has a family friendly atmosphere and I love the fact that there is a branch open every day of the week for my banking needs.  I am so grateful for the Scholarship.”

James Mullin of Linwood was also awarded a $500 Surf Club Scholarship.  He is attending Rutgers University majoring in Genetics with a minor in Psychology. James was happy to win the Scholarship and explained why he likes banking with Jersey Shore.  He said, “I like that I can get my banking done in a small community bank.  I always feel welcome, rarely see any lines, and never have any problems.  It’s everything I need with a small town feel.”
