South-Central Chapter Donates to CUAid Disaster Relief

The South-Central Chapter of Credit Unions made a donation of $200 to the National Credit Union Foundation’s (Foundation) CUAid disaster relief fund to help credit union people affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, and those affected by the wildlife in California.

In a thank you note, Foundation Executive Director Gigi Hyland highlights how donations in any amount go a long way. “After a natural disaster hits, often leaving nothing but despair, your gift of $200 empowers heroic credit union employees and volunteers to cope with personal losses and emotional trauma while working under extreme conditions to provide critical services that will rebuild the lives of members in the disaster area,” she wrote.
