County Educators FCU Honors Late CEO Glenn South on One Year Anniversary

On Friday, March 30, 2018, County Educators Federal Credit Union invited friends and family alike to join together to celebrate their late CEO, Glenn South.

Friday marked one year since his passing and his spirit and personality still lives on in the credit union. In honor of Glenn, friends and family gathered to plant an apple tree to grow outside of his old office to celebrate his memory for many years to come.

County Educators Federal Credit Union also announced that from this year forward, they will be giving out one college scholarship in Glenn’s name.

Glenn’s siblings Valerie, Wayne and Brian made a donation to The Arbor Day Foundation on County Educators behalf for their brother, Glenn. A tribute was made and 25 trees planted and registered in Chippewa National Forest. The trees will be a living monument to Glenn and provide comfort and peace to all who knew him.

“Glenn was more than our CEO he was our friend, brother, cook and chauffeur he was always ready and willing to help anyone of us at any given moment. He was truly selfless and is forever missed”, said Judy Pinho.
