Local students awarded scholarships from South Jersey Federal Credit Union

South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) has awarded local high school students with scholarships.

To qualify, students' parents had to be members of the SJFCU, and also had to submit their official high school transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, a letter of recommendation and an essay.

The scholarships were awarded to the following students:  

  • Carly Smith, of Timber Creek Regional High School, received a $500 scholarship.
  • Eve Penuel, of Eastern Regional High School, received a $500 scholarship.
  • Rachel Lynch, of Eastern Regional High School, received a $250 scholarship.
  • Ilse-Marie Cook, of Gloucester County Institute of Technology, received a $500 scholarship.
  • Casey Moore, of Clayton High School, received a $750 scholarship.
  • Jessica Alicia Lugo, of Cherry Hill High School West, received a $750 scholarship.
  • Kayleen-Anne Italia, of Padua Academy, received a $750 scholarship.
  • Whitney Wilcox, of Gloucester County Institute of Technology, received a $250 scholarship.
  • Drew Monteleone-Haught, of Gloucester County Christian School, received a $250 scholarship.
