Research 1166 FCU’s Annemarie Shinn Joins NJ CU Foundation Board

HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Credit Union Foundation welcomed Research 1166 FCU CEO Annemarie Shinn as its newest board member at the Foundation’s latest meeting.

Shinn also serves on the New Jersey Credit Union League Board of Directors. 

A US Navy Veteran, Shinn spent over nine years serving the country in both active duty military and reserves service. She began her credit union career in 2002 at Research 1166 FCU as the Accounting Administrator in the back office. She quickly climbed the ranks, being promoted to CTO and Controller in 2004. Upon the retirement of the prior CEO in 2011, Shinn assumed control of the now $17.5 million credit union located inside of The Paulsboro New Jersey Technical Center.

She holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration along with a BS in Accounting from Rowan University. 

Shinn fills the seat vacated by Dawn Brockup, who has been named an Advisory Trustee to the Board.
