Today Kicks Off #FLM19!
in NJ CU Foundation

Financial Literacy Month kicks off today! While credit union financial education efforts are year-round, this is our month to show the nation the importance of financial education and how credit unions are dedicated to to building a financially literate future for their communities.

Check back with the New Jersey Credit Union League and New Jersey Credit Union Foundation all month for resources and information you can use to help us reach those who may only be thinking about financial education because it's Financial Literacy Month (#FLM19).

Be sure to let us know what your credit union is doing this month to spread the word about financial literacy. Send stories and photos to Natalie Spangenberg to be included in the League's Daily Exchange newsletter, tag the League and Foundation on Facebook, use the Financial Literacy Month hashtag #FLM19 on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and more!

Need some ideas on how you can up your financial literacy game during Financial Literacy Month and beyond? Check out the Foundation's latest blog titled "5 Financial Literacy Tools and Resources for Financial Literacy Month for Financial Literacy Month."

The New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education (NJCFE) is one of the Foundation's financial literacy partners and has many great resources, including free webinars. Also check out the Jump$tart Coaliton, of which the NJCFE is a member. Jump$tart supports the financial education efforts of its partners and affiliates, brings together the financial literacy community to foster cooperation and collaboration.
